Sixteenth Algorithmic Number Theory Symposium (ANTS XVI)
Massachusetts Institute of Technology
July 15–19, 2024

Travel

The nearest airport to ANTS XVI is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). There is free MBTA service from the airport to South stattion on the Silver Line You can also travel to Boston by rail and by bus, both of which have major transit terminals at South station.

IMPORTANT: Due to track maintenance, on Sunday July 14, the MTBA Red Line will be closed and service will be replaced by shuttle buses. Google and Apple maps are both aware of this and will suggest alternate routes that are likely to work better. On Monday July 15, Red line service from South Station to Kendall/MIT will resume, but Red line service to stops north of Kendall/MIT (including Central, Harvard, Porter, and Davis) will be via shuttle bus and alternate routes may be preferable.

Those taking public transportation to the BU Summer Conference Housing facility at 10 Buick Street should take the B branch of the Green Line (toward Boston College) to the Amory Street stop on Commonwealth Avenue, which is a 3 minute walk from 10 Buick Street. The most direct route to the Green Line from the airport is to take one of the blue Massport shuttle buses (22, 33, 55, 66, 88 all work, but 11 does not) to the Airport Station on the Blue Line, take the Blue Line to Government Center, and then switch to the B branch of the Green Line.
