Massachusetts Institute of Technology
July 15–19, 2024

Conference Venue

ANTS XVI will take place in Cambridge, Massachusetts at the Massachusetts Intitute of Technology.

All of the talks will take place in room 10-250, on the second floor of Building 10 (shown below). From the main entreance to MIT at 77 Masschusetts Avenue, walk up the wide steps, enter the grand atrium (Lobby of Building 7), continue straight and walk halfway down the Infinite Corridor, until you reach Lobby 10 and can see Killian Court (large green space) out the glass doors to your right. Take the elevator (to your left) or the stairs (shortly before or after Lobby 10) up one level to the second floor. The building is open Mon-Fri, 6am-7pm.

Internet: Free wi-fi is available throughout the MIT campus. Use the MIT Guest network (setup requires the ability to receive a text or email, or a friend with this ability). You can also use eduroam if you have the appropriate credentials.

Restrooms/water: There are 6 restrooms within 50 meters of 10-250, but not all of them are on the same floor. From the entrance facing toward Killian court there is a men's room to your right (3-201) and women's rooms in the corresponding locations on the first and third floors; there is a gender-neutral bathroom to your left (4-201) and men's bathrooms in the corresponding locations on the first and third floors. All six bathrooms have water fountains with bottle fillers in front of them. There is also a detailed map of the facilities available throughout the MIT campus that includes accessibility information.

Lunch: We invite you to explore the MIT campus and its environs during the lunch breaks. There are many places to eat.

The MIT Mathematics Department is in Building 2. The only part of the conference that will take place in or near building 2 are the rump session on Thurdsay evening (in room 2-190), and the bubble tea and waffle truck events on Thursday and Friday afternoons, which will take place in Lowell Court adjacent to Building 2.
