Rump session
It is an ANTS tradition to hold a rump session, consisting of very short presentations on a variety of topics. These could be progress reports, news about recent results, advertisements for conferences of interest, or even lighter fare.
The rump session for ANTS XII will take place Thursday, August 1, beginning shortly after the last contributed talk. Here is the list of talks:
- Andrew Sutherland, Torsion subgroups of elliptic curves over quintic and sextic number fields, slides
- Aurore Guillevic, Faster individual discrete logarithms in GF(3^{6*509}) and GF(3^{5*479}), slides
- Steven Galbraith, Some Questions about Supersingular Curves and Isogeny Cryptosystems, slides
- Aurore Guillevic, Discrete logarithm record in 508-bit and 600-bit finite fields GF(p^3) with the Number Field Sieve algorithm, slides
