ANTS VI Information for participants
Campus Map
Map
of campus (pdf format) Note that on this map North
is toward the left side of the map.
Probably the best landmark on campus is the large teaching hospital
(Fletcher Allan Heath Care). It is on the north side of the main
campus.
Residence Hall
ANTS participants who are staying in the university
residence hall will be in Marsh/Austin/Tupper hall.
Marsh/Austin/Tupper hall is located on the south side of
the main campus, almost directly south from the hospital.
Automobile access is via Spear Street. (You probably need
to use the zoom feature of your pdf reader in order to read
the building labels.)
From the parking lot, you will either need to walk around
the building to reach the main entrance, or if you enter
from the parking lot you will have to go up one flight of
stairs. Residence hall staff will be available from 3-7 pm
on Saturday to help with checking into the residence hall.
Information on whom to contact outside of these hours will
be emailed to all registered participants.
Parking
The parking lot to be used by ANTS participants will be the
parking lot closest to the residence hall, Marsh/Austin/Tupper hall. Parking is free
during the weekend but during the week you will need a parking
pass. Pre-ordered parking passes can be picked up at the
opening reception of the conference.
Opening Reception
The opening reception of the ANTS conference will take place
Saturday from 6-8 pm
in the Atrium on the ground floor of the Given Medical Building.
The

the Marsh/Austin/Tupper residence hall.
At the opening reception, registered participants
will be able to pick up their

available at the opening reception.
Light finger food and drinks will be served at the opening
reception.

All of the talks of the conference (with the exception of
Friday) will take place in the Carpenter Auditorium of the Given

The Carpenter Auditorium seats approximately 300 people. The

your own laptop).
On Friday, the conference will move to a room 101

of the hospital.
